Corps Members work full-time for a year in environmental roles with non-profit or government agencies, focusing on areas such as environmental restoration, community engagement, climate change, environmental education, sustainable agriculture, energy conservation, and forestry
Each Corps Member must finalize a Capstone Project, a collaborative effort that includes the Corps Member, approval from the Host Organization, and consultation with Chesapeake Bay Trust. The chosen Capstone Project should align with the professional aspirations of the Corps Member, providing essential experience and skills
The Chesapeake Bay Trust presents a grant opportunity enabling Corps Members to seek funding for their Capstone Project or other initiatives they lead. This grant offers increased flexibility in selecting Capstone Projects, gaining experience in grant writing, and managing budgets, providing valuable skills and support for their projects.
